It is with a heavy heat I am writing this post.

On Friday as most of you know our company had a devastating fire which ripped through the entire main building.

We will be temporarily closed for a few day’s until we get the necessary equipment and stock back into place. I will keep you all posted about that.

Most importantly myself and my wife Joanne along with the rest of the Butler family would like to thank family and friends and the people of Carrickmacross and surrounding area for all there well wishes and support. It’s means a lot and it makes me proud to call myself a Carrick man.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Aidan Slevin & Ciaran Slevin of Slevin Plant Hire for all the work they done on very short notice. John and Derval from McCabe Earthworks for the loan of their yard, Seans deli for all the food and all the other businesses that has offered their services and most importantly the County Monaghan Fire and Rescue Services only for them we would be in a much worse place than we are today and for that we are very grateful.
